Access/Jet Can Make "Mistakes"

In a multi-user setting, Access/Jet can make this mistake in that there can be enough time for two users to get, and try to save, the same counter result. To get around this, many of us generate those counter fields in our own VBA code.

Serial numbers are still the best idea, in my opinion.
