While we still can only guess at what Nintendo will show at its press conference tomorrow, the company did send word of one thing we'll be seeing. MotionPlus is a small peripheral that attaches to the bottom of the Wiimote, and supposedly makes tracking your movements in 3D space much more accurate.
Every slight movement players make with their wrist or arm is rendered identically in real time on the screen, providing a true 1:1 response in their game play. The Wii MotionPlus accessory reconfirms Nintendo's commitment to making games intuitive and accessible for everyone. Nintendo will reveal more details about the Wii MotionPlus accessory and other topics Tuesday morning at its E3 media briefing.
This is pretty exciting and will hopefully open the controller up for even more interesting uses. The argument can be made that this is the sort of thing we were told the controller could do from the first day, but it looks like some upcoming games demanded something a little more refined. We have our passes for the Nintendo press conference, so we'll let you know what is announced for this peripheral.
