Firefox 3.0.1, the first minor bugfix update to Firefox 3, was released yesterday. This version resolves a few critical security issues and also includes handful of other minor fixes.
The most serious of the three security vulnerabilities fixed in this release makes it possible for a malicious attacker to crash the browser and potentially run malicious code by causing Firefox to create a large number of references to a CSS object.
The update is available for download from Mozilla's web site. For more details, see the release notes and the official announcement in the Mozilla Developer Center.
