Are you tired of seeing all your hard iPhone hacking work go unappreciated? Do you long for a chance to work for Apple while still poking around for flaws in the iPhone OS? Wait no longer, intrepid code ninja, for Apple may have just the job for you.
As many have observed, Apple has a new position titled "iPhone Security Engineer" waiting for an "exceptional" individual to "validate the security architecture for the iPhone." Check out some of the listed duties:
The timing of this position is in no way a coincidence. Apple is pitching the iPhone 3G and iPhone OS 2.0 as ready for the enterprise (a claim which we took significant issue with), but recent security concerns can't be doing Apple any favors. The company is getting nailed for being too slow to patch the iPhone OS, and a new URL spoofing flaw opens the device up for phishing attacks.
If you think you got what it takes to get the iPhone's security up to snuff, don't wait—apply today! If you act now, you could win a dream hacking job at a buzz-worthy tech giant with all the lunch trips to TGI Friday's BJ's you can dream of.
