He has worked at many different jobs before starting to write for Ars in 2003: daycare worker, high school teacher, database programmer, statistician, IT consultant, game tester, user interface designer, and technical writer. He is best known for his devotion to extremely niche computer platforms, such as his beloved AmigaOne (he is also president of the Vancouver chapter of the Commodore Computer Club). In his spare time he enjoys playing computer games and reading and writing science fiction. He is married to a beautiful and intelligent dancer named Jennifer, and has a cat named Zoe.
