Creative Commons and WordPress

Anybody notice anything particularly cool about creativecommons.org these days?

It’s no secret that they like WordPress. Why isn’t WpLicense in the directory? It’s too bad this did not appear here.

also strange that they would bother building a widget but not bother conforming to the widget API.

Is WpLicense integrated into wpcom?

If it were it could make search for CC content easy, just like flickr’s license thing allows us to easily search free photographs.
