Master of Divinity

The Master of Divinity (M.Div.) is a 90 hour degree for those planning to enter vocational ministry. Concentration options include:

First Theological Degree Generalist Bible/Theology (Old Testament, New Testament or Pentecostal/Charismatic Studies) Expository Preaching Military/Institutional Chaplaincy Practical Theology (Christian Ministry or Counseling Ministry) Intercultural Ministries (with a Muslim Ministry option)

Master of Arts in Christian Ministries

The Master of Arts in Christian Ministries is a 60 hour degree similar to the M.Div., but lacking the Biblical languages requirements. Concentration options include:

This is the only master's degree offered by AGTS which may be completed entirely at one of the branch campuses with one of the following concentrations: Professional Ministry or Muslim Ministry (learn more about Continuing Education at AGTS).

Master of Arts in Intercultural Ministries

The Master of Arts in Intercultural Ministries (M.A.I.M.) is a 60-credit degree serving those preparing for multi-cultural ministry in a domestic or foreign context. Students take an intercultural practicum under the guidance of an experienced mentor. The M.A.I.M. allows for up to nine credits of approved courses to be taken by prior approval from a foreign school and intergrated into the program at AGTS. Concentration options include:

Master of Arts in Counseling

The Master of Arts in Counseling is a 60-credit degree for those planning to do church-based or community counseling. This program can prepare you to become an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor). Concentration options include:

Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) Licensed Professional Counseling (LPC) LPC/MFT Dual Concentration or Intercultural Ministries

The Master of Arts in Theological Studies (M.A.T.S.) is a 48 hour degree for those who wish to enhance their effectiveness in ministry, including specialized areas such as teaching and church related writing. Concentration options include:

Doctor of Ministry

The Doctor of Ministry is an in-service doctoral degree for those who already have a M.Div. or equivalency and have acquired three or more years of ministry experience since earning their first graduate degree. Concentration options include:

Doctor of Missiology

The Doctor of Missiology degree is an in-service program for those with a Masters degree in an appropriate missiological or theological discipline and with more than two years of intercultural ministry experience. Recognizing the priority of the Holy Spirit's person and power in accomplishing the mission of God (missio dei), the D.Miss. enhances missionary practice, prepares students to teach missiology at any level, builds a foundation for training future missionaries and equips leaders for compassion ministry. Concentration options include:
