The Clayton County Police Chief, Jeff Turner, should calm down. The was no "fraud perpetrated" here. There is a difference between fraud and a hoax. Clayton County seems to have two jokes. Bigfoot, and a Police Chief that takes himself way too serious. Both of them seem pretty funny to me.

This does not disprove the existence of Big Foot. It explains why Big Foot seems to 'bounce around' all over from one place to another. Haven't you ever wondered where rubber comes from? It is from dead Big Foot's, that is why no one ever finds his body, it goes to the recycling company.

Cindy is right, the media doesn't care if stories about mythical creatures are true, they're fun and we like to hear 'em, so whenever some yokel says he was anal-probed by UFOs or married Bigfoot's sister, we listen to the story because it's fun! I think they should tie these two simpletons to a log at the zoo in the gorilla exhibit. Being fondled by a silverback that has the power to tear your limbs off and beat you to death with them may be the closest these two hacks will ever come to bigfoot. Not to mention that "i just pumped the neighbor's cat" look on there face while there spooning with the silverbacks... Stupid people shouldn't breed, but unfortunately they have to be bright enough to know there too stupid to be good parents, so it's just a viscious cycle with dog faced banjo players on a trashed suspension bridge, weighted down by a tubless washer.

I live just outside of Blue Ridge,Ga. up in the mountains of North Georgia and just as soon as I heard this story I knew it would be just like another one from a few years ago on the front page of the National Enquire where Fannie May "Granny" Crower claimed that the Blue Ridge Mountains were besieged by Hillbilly Zombies. (However I think I have seen a few of them working at fast food restaurants around here) Then when I found out that the two guys that found the"Bigfoot" were law enforcement officers that it was a true line of B.S.. I mean after all,"If you can't trust the law then who can you trust !"

It's fraud only because they took money. Prior to that it was just a hoax. The problem the Chief has is if this cop ever takes the stand in trial, the first thing a defense attorney will go after is his involvement in a hoax. Cops aren't civilians, they are always on duty if in uniform or not. That's part of the deal you accept when you apply to the academy.

Of course there was fraud. The article says that the "ape" was turned over to researchers for an "undisclosed amount of money". The two idiots knew that it was a rubber monkey suit. Is that the kind of people who you want to be sworn to serve and protect and given a firearm to make true and just decisions in a fraction of a second? They could have backed out of this fiasco at any time, but instead they chose to get paid for their rubber monkey suit by researchers actually searching for the truth. I personally believe that bigfoot exists because there's too much evidence to support it. People like these two guys make it harder for researchers and others interested in finding the truth to be taken serious in their quest to discover the unknown.
