Good weekend and hoping for an even better week…
Well, there was plenty to be happy with. ND ran past Stanford and won. The Colts pulled out a close one. Griffin won his game on Sat. Gabe won his game on Sun. Maddie stood out from among all others in cheerleading (I’m so proud of her). Merri completed her first round of training in Oakbrook, IL. I’m glad to have her home though. This week is another full week. Football and cheerleading practices, looking at buildings to house The Bridge, More training for Merri and hopefully hearing some good news on another front too. I’m hoping to get some reading done here and there. I have 2 new book reviews to blog about and another book that I’ almost finished with. I’m looking forward to having a date night with Merri now that she’s home! So lets get started, it’s Monday and 8:59am. Here we go…
Griffin-stats week #2
Griffin had another good game today. It was much closer than last week, with Griffin’s team literally winning on a touchdown on the last play of the game. Griffin ran for 145 yds. and scored 1 TD. The Packers (his team) are now 2-0. We (the coaches) can’t wait until Mondday to teach some things to help us to become even better!
Biden vs. Palin
I’m glad there was only one VP debate for a couple of reasons. My mind was made up before this debate, but this confirmed it all. As an Independent/non partisan voter, I’ve seen enough and I’m ready to vote.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times…
My last couple of weeks couldn’t have been more true. When I pause and take a look at back I can’t believe the swings in momentum, emotion and outcomes. I’m looking forward to some changes coming down the road for us. I’m looking forward to and expecting opportunities to come. And, I’m even more appreciative of the good times, because when the hard or bad times hit, it really sticks!
Things I’m looking forward to Friday - Sunday
Things I’m Looking Forward to Today…
Looking back and looking ahead…
This was a tough weekend. ND lost, Green Bay lost, Colts lost, Bears lost and Gabe’s team lost. We had a important and hard board meeting Sunday that showed us where we (The Bridge) sit VS. what we have to do in order to go forward.Â
Looking forward, I’m excited about this week, it has a lot of potential. By the way, Merri is doing better. She has started walking (slowly) without crutches. Her leg and foot are slowly coming back. Her leg tires easily and gets tight, but progress is being made. Thank you again to all those who continue to pray for her.
