I have been working with information technology and internet technology since 1993, but I am also trained as a minister, communicator and presenter. I have a wide array of skills and experiences from project management, web design and development, client support, call center management, writing, editing, multimedia authoring and editing, online and internet analysis, research and report generation, and strategic product development. I am a skilled presenter, public speaker, preacher and teacher. Most of all, I am a "big picture" thinker able to assimilate new information and skills quickly and add value to every team I've been a part of.
I get things done.
My goals are to work for a Christian organization (whether non-profit, commercial, parachurch, or a local church) and to grow and utilize my skills to further its vision.

Duties included managing content creation and production from start to finish of several online media training courses in WMV, MPEG, and FLV format as well as podcasts to promote the new content.
I used Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition (and other tools) to rip, copy, transcode and edit digital video in various formats. The coursework created included the creation of intro and outro video, a sample video for each course, edited (cut-down) video from each course teacher, the creation of powerpoint-like slides to be synchronized with the video, extensive discussion and journaling questions, transcripts, message boards, quizzes, and quotes and scripture references, and related downloads.
Also assisted with the launch of a new Web initiative for online media delivered to churches (FaithVisuals.com).

Duties included managing project timelines and deliverables for all parties to the overall project, requiring work with the programming team, the content-production team, the database-designers, the outside vender providing the CMS, and close work with the designers to make sure we had a useable, functional site. I also wrote nearly all of the online customer support documentation for the site. After launch I fielded customer service queries until CTI could hire customer care personnel, and I also designed, created, and managed the delivery of the Weekly Illustration Update newsletters. PreachingToday.com now has about 20,000 members, each representing $80 a year in income.

I contracted mainly with Network Communications Systems (NCS), which created the content management software for ag.org. Duties included website design, creation, and management (from initial concept to the maintenance of nearly 2,000 pages). Proposed and deployed a database-enabled website with remote content management capability.
Proposed and led project to utilize a database-enabled listserv, also with remote Web management capability. Created long-range plans for corporate internet presence, administrative policy recommendations. Acted as Internet postmaster and listserv administrator. Trained personnel to use the Internet efficiently, provided technical and cultural analyses of Internet trends, software recommendations and purchasing, and administrative support and analyses for the Board of Administration.

Client Support Specialist (PC / Windows / Office)
Duties included troubleshooting and resolving user difficulties with office software/hardware, end-user training, creating documentation, deploying a corporate software upgrade, WordBasic macro programming and troubleshooting, and helpdesk problem resolution/logging. Required strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Managed call center, logged all incoming requests and attempt to resolve as many over the phone as possible. Required accurate problem analysis and description and strong communication skills..
Duties involved transcribing dictated or handwritten documents and turning them into finished presentation materials or correspondence. Performed light desktop publishing and advanced word processing for clients with large projects and difficult tasks. Also provided elementary WordBasic programming assistance to office staff. Required strong communication and production skills and advanced proofreading/editorial skills.
Duties involved tracking print jobs through the publishing plant, managing and tracking inventory used in photo shoots, job cost analyses, and assistance with art designers on photo shoots.
