Singapore Senior Minister
Lee Kuan Yew celebrates his 80th birthday on 16th September 2003.
He has spent nearly 50 years in politics and has played mentor to many young politicians. And there's no stopping him.
He plans to remain Senior Minister for "as long as he can contribute" and then as an MP for as long as he is fit.
